What does your organization do?
Since its inception in 1903, the Tulsa Regional Chamber has served as an integral part of growing jobs, growing talent and growing opportunity in northeast Oklahoma. Every strategy, program and service the Chamber offers is created specifically to serve the Tulsa-area business community and further its mission — with results that directly benefit our 2,300 members and the community. Through a variety of partnerships, a dedicated team of 4,100 volunteers and visionary civic leadership, the Chamber mobilizes resources to support and sustain the economic prosperity of the Tulsa region. 

Why did you decide to partner with 36°N? Creating and sustaining a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem is integral to attracting and retaining young talent to the Tulsa region. Working with our regional partners and stakeholders, we've made cultivating these local entrepreneurs a key strategic priority.

Jessica Flint

Jessica Flint is the Director of the Forge startup incubator in Tulsa. She's responsible for managing the facilities and operations by working collaboratively with tenants, service providers, clients and the business community. Connect with Jessica on LinkedIn

Brien Thorstenberg

Brien Thorstenberg is the Senior Vice President of Economic Development for the Tulsa Regional Chamber. He has extensive experience in the areas of economic and community development, including the successful recruitment and retention of industry ,the successful recruitment of knowledge-based companies, the development of industry associations, the implementation of manufacturing extention programs, workforce development programs, the development of an affordable housing addition (175 1200sq ft. to 1800 sq. ft. homes) and other community related initiatives. He took the lead role in a community visioning process to develop a holistic implementation strategy to achieve concrete results to improve the community of Muskogee.

He is involved in a number of statewide, regional and local economic development organizations. These include Treasurer of the Oklahoma Governors Economic Development Marketing Team, Vice Chairman of the Oklahoma Economic Development Council, Partner with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce Foreign Direct Investment Team, Member of the Tulsa Futures Regional Partnership, Past President of the Southeast Oklahoma Regional Economic Development Partnership and many others.
