Intro to Angel Investing Workshop

  • 36 Degrees North 36 East Cameron Street Tulsa, OK, 74103 United States

Two of the most frequent questions I’m asked is “what is an angel group?” and “what is an angel investor?” To some people this is a very familiar topic, while to most, it can be somewhat foreign and mysterious. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a high level overview of what are angel groups, how are angel investments made, who are angel investors, and what goes on behind the scenes for getting early stage deals done. You will also have the opportunity to hear perspectives and insights of current SeedStep Angels members and what they’ve learned over the years as angel investors.

This workshop is a great opportunity for existing local entrepreneurs, guests, and current angels members to learn more about:

  • What is an angel investor?
  • What types of companies do angels fund?
  • Angels vs. VCs
  • Angel characteristics
  • Angel investor returns and angel networks
  • Common mistakes and process for success
  • Basic angel investment structures
  • Equity crowdfunding
  • SeedStep Angels and i2E

The workshop will be held on March 3rd, 2017 from 11:30am to 1pm. Lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP by February 24th, 2017 if you plan to attend.
