Welcome Veteran Entrepreneurs!
The Riata Center for Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University invite you to their Networking, Information, and Research session in Tulsa, OK at 36 Degrees North on Wednesday, June 7 at 5pm.
The purpose of this event is to:
- gather information on the challenges, needs, barriers, and successes of veteran business owners in the area
- present information on valuable resources available locally and nationally
- provide a space for veteran entrepreneurs to network with likeminded veteran entrepreneurs
This event is open to all veteran business owners, from those who have been in business more than 10 years to those who have been in business 5 years, 3 months, or only 1 week. If you are a veteran entrepreneur, this event is for you! During the event, veteran entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to connect with each other, discuss strategies, and hopefully make powerful connections!
Veteran Entreprenuership Panel
We want your businesses to continue growing and succeeding! To help, we're offering information on resources available to you as a veteran business owner. The panel will feature several speakers, including Riata Center and IVMF.
The focus groups serve as a nonjudgmental, confidential opportunity to discuss challenges, barriers, successes, achievements, and resources from your experience as a veteran entrepreneur. The focus groups are set up to run like a discussion, where everyone is encouraged to share their experience. Focus groups run about 1 hour and will begin at 7:00 PM after the networking and panel discussion.
