Are you interested in learning more about securing funding for your technology-based small business that is cash, doesn’t take IP, and doesn’t take equity? Are you a supporter of women’s entrepreneurship? Are you a researcher or graduate student with the goal of commercializing your research? We have programs for you! Plan to attend the Tulsa OK Catalyst Roadshow to learn more.
The Tulsa OK Catalyst Roadshow is a workshop to expose Tulsa-area researchers and entrepreneurs to the new Oklahoma Catalyst programs and the $2.5B/year Federal Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR) program. The Oklahoma Catalyst programs are a series of programs, sponsored by OCAST, SBA, and the University of Oklahoma, focused on increasing participation in Federal funding opportunities such as SBIR and supporting women’s entrepreneurship. University of Oklahoma Tom Love Innovation Hub Executive Director Tom Wavering will talk through the various Catalyst program opportunities for Oklahoma-based businesses and researchers, provide details and answer questions about the SBIR program.
Prior to founding the Tom Love Innovation Hub at the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Wavering was based around the Washington, D.C. area where he spent 18+ years growing two of the most successful SBIR funded companies in the U.S. and turning their R&D into products and spin-offs.
This event is free and open to the public.
