CANCELED: Introduction to Fundraising: Philanthropy, Communication and the Nonprofit Sector: Part 2

  • 36 Degrees North 36 East Cameron Street Tulsa, OK, 74103 United States (map)

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED. But wait… There’s good news:

We initially organized this class in the fall of last year to test the interest in the Tulsa market for a truly beginner's level course on philanthropy.

With the response we've currently received, we've made the decision to pivot the two-day course to a complimentary, fully-customized hour of fundraising consulting for everyone who registered. This will enable us to take a deep dive into folks' most burning fundraising questions and provide them with the tools and resources needed to meet their fundraising goals.

Consulting will be offered the last week of March, the 25th through the 29th. If you intended on taking the course but have not yet registered, please email to set up your complimentary personal fundraising session.

WRITE ON FUNDRAISING is proud to present Introduction to Fundraising: Philanthropy, Communication & the Nonprofit Sector. This class is designed to serve as an introduction to fund development for folks new to fundraising, people who recently transitioned from the private sector to nonprofit, and/or individuals interested in pursuing a fundraising career in the future. Equal parts “why to” and “how to,” this two-day course includes a comprehensive overview of essential nonprofit theory, finance, donor motivation, communication tools, revenue streams, data, acknowledgements and prospecting, stewardship, volunteer management, and ethics, etiquette and expectations. Lunch and class materials will be provided.

*This is the second part of a two-day workshop. Part one is on Wednesday, March 6.
