Responsibilities: Intern will create and deliver social media content on various platforms for both WOF and our clients; draft content for WOF quarterly newsletter and various client marketing materials; draft content for WOF and client press releases and media inquiries; assist in the creation of annual marketing calendars, strategies and promotions for clients; after completing grants training, research and vet private foundation, corporate and government grant opportunities; after completing grants training, conduct programs research on behalf of clients; after completing grants training, draft, edit and submit at least three (3) grant proposals; other duties as assigned
Educational Background: College junior, senior or graduate student studying communications, public relations, marketing, business, or English literature
Skills and Experience: This person should be an excellent writer who is naturally curious, enjoys working with people, and excels in solving problems creatively.
Schedule: Summer (May-July) internship at 5-10 hrs/week; flexible schedule
Location: Intern must live in Tulsa or be willing to commute
Compensation: This is an unpaid position; academic credit available with permission from academic institution
