The 36 Degrees North Mentor Program is designed to give 36°N members access to experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders who understand the risks and rewards of starting a business. Our mentors were selected because of their ability to provide honest and practical feedback based on personal experience- not just business theory.

Libby Billings

Owner, Elote

Libby Billings is the owner of Elote Cafe & Catering, The Vault and Roppongi. She's a Tulsa native, Booker T Washington hornet, OSU IT culinary school graduate, local foods enthusiast and a proud mother of two. Billings opened Elote in 2008 with five employees and a $30,000 SBA business loan. Since then Billings has opened two more restaurants and added 80 employees. She has been credited with the revitalization of the Deco District after forming and residing as President of the Deco District neighborhood association for its first five years. During those years she brought crowds to downtown Tulsa with Salsafest and it's Chihuahua races, The Pop Up Shops, Chalkfest and of course the Luchadores. In addition to her focus on urban revitalization Billing’s leads Tulsa's restaurant industry with her commitment to local foods and sustainability. Elote was the first restaurant to recycle, compost and use biodegradable togo boxes in Tulsa. Billings has no investors and is proud to be a role model for other women and girls who want to follow their entrepreneurial dreams.

An executive and entrepreneur. Experience in designing, funding, building and growing companies. The Founder, Co-Founder, CEO, COO or Executive of nine different companies in various industries. Two time INC 500 recipient, Entrepreneurial Excellence award recipient, three time UTAH 100 recipient, and member leader of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.

Evan Kelamis

Owner, Savoy Restaurant

Raised in Tulsa, Evan attended the University of Kansas earning a Masters in Accounting and Information Systems. He started his career as an auditor for KPMG in Chicago, specializing in Consumer and Industrial Manufacturing. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Evan returned to Tulsa and founded a food manufacturing company, Savoy Foods, focused on sharing the well-known Savoy cinnamon roll with a larger audience. In the years that followed, Evan acquired ownership in Savoy Restaurant from his father. Today, Evan operates both entities and is active in the Tulsa non-profit community.

Jon Schroeder

COO, Ribbow Media Group

Jon Schroeder is the Chief Operating Officer of the Ribbow Media Group in Nashville, TN. He has been directly responsible for building Ribbow’s product offering outside of Facebook which includes Youtube, Search (Google, Yahoo, Bing), Display, Instagram, Pandora, Spotify, SMS and Snapchat. Under his leadership Ribbow has become a Google premier partner, increased focus on training our ad buyers through Facebook blueprint certifications and worked directly with Facebook on the “Advanced Measurement Tool”,that creates cross channel, device environment reporting with a focus on Return On Advertising Spend (ROAS) across all channels of marketing.
